Stellae Dimidiatae (Stars Divided) can be thought of as Interplanetary Cyberpunk. The future is now, with travel between planets being as cheap as a disneyland vacation.
Earth and the moon are both packed with people. While pollution has been dealt with (all the heavy industry has been moved to Mercury or Io) people are still packed like sardines, and the Earth has to import food to feed it's untold billions, shipped in by Skyhook orbital elevator.
Mars is terraformed, but it's low gravity means it's slowly leaking air. Someone's going to have to do something about that in the next hundred years or so...
Venus and Saturn have been colonized with large dirigible-cities. Venus is slowly being terraformed, converting it's toxic atmosphere into something breathable, but for now, Venus is considered the experts in bio-engineering and cosmetic retrogenes. Saturn, with it's high gravity, is rarely a tourist trap, although it's moon, Titan, is.
The Belt is a collection of colonies throughout the Asteroids. The largest colonies are on Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, and Astraea, but smaller "mining towns" spring up anywhere resources are convenient.
Mercury and Io contain 99% of the system's manufacturing capacity. Mercury relies on solar power, whereas Io uses geothermal vents.

There's very little limit as to what you can RP as, with just a bit of backstory- Everyone was either born human (before any number of possible genetic or cybernatic alterations- "OMG! I want wings!" "That'll be 3000c, kid") Or you were whipped up in an AI lab, and may be installed in any kind of hardware imaginable. (Although I'd imagine RPing an inteligent toaster would be rather dull pretty awsome.) AIs of a certian power are considered citizens in most places.
