Hi. I've gone under several names as time has went by...General Morden, the man who brought down SSBRP, and now helps to bring it back up, the CRRP newb DooM, Firebrand of EARP...
I kind of like the way this place is run. Completely unique RPs in the way that they're made a tad more realistic and interactive I do hope there won't be any battle system, though...I try to stay away from those as much as possible, if it can be helped. That's how I was going to run Shihirin, anyways...
On that note, this place kind of reminds me of Shihirin. Instead of one big story, ther'es various little microcosms that affect everything. Speaking of which, I think it would be interesting if what happened in one RP altered events in the other.
Anyways, I've been RPing on forums for over a year, I think a year and a half now. A friend and I are trying to form up a new continuity for our characters that can fit in our grand schemes, and we think it would turn out well.
I guess my only questions are: -What restrictions do our characters have? -What does it take to become staff?
Edit: As a side note, though the staff forum itself is locked to outsiders, its subforums aren't...

o,O Shite. Note to self, check accessibility with test account.
We do have a battle system, but it's what some would call "rules lite". You can ignore it entirely if you want, or build up a character as you please with it. It might be clearer once they get added to the Rules forum, so yeah... The interaction between the games'll be minimal (they won't exactly mix unless I go and create a detailed system to explain magic in a semi-realistic RP like Volo is to be), but I do want to add little easter eggs connecting them every now and again.
Q1:Characters can be created for a single section, there's no restriction to the number of characters (although if that gets to be a problem, we might limit the number to say 3 or 4, two max to a a section, excusing any made for the RPGs in the hidden Dedicated Forums), characters are generally supposed to be just starting out in the world, or had a catastrophe that ruined them...um...I'm supposed to be making an Application, just haven't gotten around to it since we haven't technically started/finished up yet (Volo only be halfway completed, and Eroico missing it's subforums entirely)
Q2: Not much at the moment, though I'm sure Anubis would prefer we add staffers as needed. It's just him and I and our Alts for the Dedicated Forums. I'll bump you up to a Spirit of Knowledge for the time being.

For refrence, the rules are the same ones I worked up for Showdown. You already should know them fairly well.

(Note: Both characters are assumed to have been possessed by the same spirit that seems to haunt quite a few of my characters.)
Heroic Breath
Character Name: Unknown Age: 32 Appearance: It is quite impossible to perceive that of all people in the world, this very one was the monk's chosen saviour. Garbed in tattered rags and drab leather, this hardly noteworthy vagrant is the utter opposite of what some may call a hero. His energy came on in spurts, as was noted by his wiry appearance, and his greying hairs were thinning out the further he spurred on. Slate grey, his eyes gave no indication of emotion, nor hinted the cracked lips on his pale face. Everything about him was thin- Fingers, clothes, personality- Though, he might had blotted out the sun had he adjusted his slouch. Class: Battlemage Spiritualist Personality: It's rather taxing to force a response from the man, considering his total lack of care for those around him. What a hero, who can't spare two words with the locals, smile when greeted, and sit in the light! And yet they state that his accomplishments outweigh his demeanor... History: Written in the ancient tomes handed down from the great Arch-Priests of Mesopotamia, the spirits of the demigod-kings were told to be resurrected within a mortal coil when blight struck the land, festering in countries and cities without reason or demand. So the people believed that should all fail, their kings would save those they ruled from tyranny and destruction. As time passed, the scrolls parted ways, spreading vast across the continents with no heed to old traditions. So it was that the monks came across the words inscribed upon the withered parchment, every letter copied rigourously from the stone tablets.
Without warning, the man had stumbled into town, without a memory of who he was and why. Only the constant whispers into his ear would give indication to his future, to his blossoming power dwelling within. With hardly more than the scraps of leather he stitched into piecemeal armour and the short blade he scavenged, he would set out to find his calling in the world.
If only the monks were around now. RP Sample: No, he groaned inwardly, Not this again. Once more, his vision flashed before his eyes into a spectrum of greys. He used to think he had drunken too much- Now, this anomaly was becoming an ailment. He could feel it coming on, surging within him moments before releasing into this skewed view. It wasn't so harsh after the first few times, his sight. He had gotten rather used to the blurred features of his surroundings, the various hues of greys and whites and blacks composing each person beside him. But, he surmised, the true pain that accompanied this feverish flux was that he almost could feel the people beside him. In the darker shades, he could almost taste the bloody spite upon their lips. The brighter ones, it seemed, he could feel their ecstasy flowing around through their limbs.
He shook his head, returned to a clearer, full colour image within his brain. What was it he had just experienced? Never before had this happened to him, not with such vivacity. Hesitating, he decided that all it was had been a dream, and a rather livid one at that, and that there was no reason to be worried at all of this occurrence, as strange and perturbing as it had been. Yet, inside, he knew that that wasn't the case, as much as he attempted to convince himself. Yet...
